From virtual to material
Following the research into how we can materialize the virtual world of the screen and how we can give volume to the video, we created and developed the idea of a bar that would dialogue directly with the theme of waves, which is shared by so many languages since light and Sound are types of waves and that our job is to give visibility and materiality to them. Breaking with the conventions of this type of bar, we chose to work with curved lines throughout its design and to use video waves in its print as well.
Year
To share
We were responsible for creating a completely original bar for the Absolut vodka brand with the theme of LGBTQIA+ pride to present at the CAPSLOCK parties in 2023.

Here is an example of our creative process for this work:
We created a video animation, generated with an analog synthesizer, and from there we generated a frame, which was pasted in sequence and then printed on a sticker, which was applied directly to the surface of the bar.
The collage of the frame in sequence highlights the formal characteristic of a wave, which extends across the environment in a way that would not fit into a single frame.
Making Of
Several versions of the project were made until we reached an ideal combination between concept, aesthetics, functionality and budget.
